Seattle Watercolors – Watercolors Fresh Daily!

Our studio, Studio Solstone, has long been part of the daily life of Seattle’s Pike Place Market, where many of our paintings begin. Surrounded by the energy of the Market, the waterfront, and the landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, our work grows out of the places and moments that define this region. Much of the artwork is created on location, capturing the movement, color, and character of Seattle as it unfolds throughout the day.

  • Amazing artist and great staff!

    Several years ago I purchased a print and through some happenstance a friend ended up taking it to his mother for her birthday as a gift. As years passed my friend and I would randomly stop by to see if either of us could find a new copy of the same print. Then one Christmas season I stopped by and asked about the print. Wonderfully the attendant brightened up with a smile across her face and said “It’s you, you’re one of the guys who have been coming by for years asking for THAT print?” as she pulled out a copy of the print that they had specifically set aside in case my friend or I stopped by. This kind of kindness and appreciation of customers is on par with the artist’s abilities. I will always love and take great pride in my prints.

  • It just makes me happy!

    I received my calendar right away and was so happy I could get it. Was on a waiting list somewhere else. I have every calendar since 1988 when I first discovered them. In the early 90’s I would take some pictures and frame them for artwork in my house (which was what I could afford). Still have one print up in a small window frame of the snow geese. Was in Stanwood this weekend and saw the live version. Amazing.  Just wanted you to know how much i love your artwork. It just makes me happy.  Thanks for being so special..
